Title: Finding groups/clusters in large galaxy redshift surveys

Abstract: I will talk about some background/history of large scale structure studies, the halo model, the basic frame work of the halo-based group finder we developed, some applications using galaxy groups. Then I will introduce the extended group/cluster finder that can be applied to both photometric and spectroscopic data, as well as the group catalogs we constructed from the current largest photometric redshift data: the DESI legacy imaging surveys DR8.


Bio: 上海交通大学特聘教授。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、教育部长江学者特聘教授(2015-2019)、973首席科学家。2005年入选中科院“百人计划”,2006年-2011年任上海天文台第二期中德马普伙伴小组中方负责人,2009年获国家杰出青年科学基金。2013年获第四届中国天文学会黄授书奖,2014年获教育部长江学者支持,获2015年度上海市自然科学一等奖,入选2017年度万人计划领军人才。目前任《National Science Review》编委。主要从事星系形成、宇宙暗物质暗能量、宇宙原初扰动等宇宙学基础前沿问题的研究。据ADS统计,发表SCI论文130余篇,被引用8900余次,h指数为52。连续6年入选(2014-2019)爱思唯尔中国高被引学者榜单。
