Lu Postdoctoral Fellowship
Established in 2022, the Lu Postdoctoral Fellowship is named after the department’s first chair, our respected professor Jufu Lu. The mission of the Lu Fellowship is to discover and encourage talented and promising Ph.D. recipients in all areas of astrophysics and provide them with the opportunity to initiate and pursue independent research.
Applicants are expected to have completed the degree requirements for a Ph.D. in astronomy or related fields at the time of appointment, with a demonstrated track record of research. Candidates from all areas of astrophysics will be considered, but priority will be given to those whose research can be closely aligned with the department’s current research activities. Fellows are selected based on their academic achievement and the promise of their scientific research.
