星系形成与演化;星系结构(盘、棒、核球、旋臂和晕等);星系长时标演化;星系并合;宇宙环境对星系演化的影响;多体+流体数值模拟等。近期研究重点:数值模拟与机器学习研究星系形成与演化,以下视频演示本课题组类银河系zoom-in模拟。
