Titile: The DESI Survey Status and Our Galaxy Cluster Science

Abstract：

The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), a Stage-IV cosmology project mounted on the 4-meter Mayall Telescope at Kitt Peak, is mapping the large-scale structure of the universe with 5,000 robotic fibers. I will review the current status of the DESI survey and highlight the contributions of our team, with an emphasis on galaxy cluster science  from cluster identification and central galaxy evolution to gaseous medium. I will also present the Extremely Large Spectroscopic Survey Telescope (ESST), a next-generation facility we are proposing to deliver transformative spectroscopic capability at an unprecedented scale, benefiting the broader astronomical community.

邹虎，中国科学院国家天文台大视场巡天与星系物理团组首席研究员、博士生导师，获国家"万人计划”QB人才项目支持。主要研究方向为近邻星系星族特性、星系与星系团的形成演化及大规模光学巡天等。曾牵头南银冠 u 波段巡天（SCUSS）与北京-亚利桑那巡天（BASS），负责和参与国家科技部、自然科学基金委、中国科学院等多项基金项目，并作为 DESI Builder 及中方合作团队负责人深度参与这一国际合作巡天。
