Abstract:
Large scale Galactic surveys have enabled us to study the Galactic disc(s) in exquisite detail, using multi-dimensional age-metallicity-phase space
(i.e. t, [M/H], v, x) information of a large sample of stars. This enormous wealth of information provides important clue to understanding the
formation and evolution of the Galactic disc(s). Here, I will present our recent progresses on studying the Galactic disc(s) using the LAMOST and Gaia surveys.
Bio:
黄样，云南大学副教授。2011年6月在安徽大学获得理学学士学位，2016年6月在北京大学获得天体物理学博士学位，2016年7月至2018年4月在北京大学从事博士后工作（同时作为LAMOST特聘研究员受中科院资助），2016年5月在云南大学聘为副教授。研究兴趣广泛，研究工作涉及大规模光谱巡天、星系动力学、星族、恒星物理以及活动星系核。博士工作引起国内外同行广泛关注，并荣获国际天文联合会首届“优秀博士论文奖”。目前已经发表学术文章80余篇（一作或通讯作者文章20余篇）。
