Title: cosmic rays and gamma rays in star forming regions

Abstract:

Star forming processes are the ultimate energy sources for cosmic rays (CRs) acceleration in our Galaxy. On the other hand, CRs can also potentially regulate the star forming processes. Gamma-ray astronomy provides an unique tool to measure in-situ the CRs in star forming regions. In this talk I will introduce the latest advancement in gamma-ray observations towards star forming regions, and discuss the implcations to CR acceleration as well as the possible CR feedback to star forming processes.  
Bio:

中国科学技术大学物理学院天文学系教授，博士生导师。国家创新人才计划青年项目入选者。2007年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学近代物理系，2013年在中国科学院紫金山天文台获得天体物理博士学位。其后在德国马克思普朗克核物理研究所从事博士后研究。2019年全职回到中国科学技术大学天文学系。研究方向为高能天体物理，宇宙线物理，暗物质间接观测等。在Nature，Nature Astronomy等主流期刊发表文章超过100篇，总引用超过10000次。
