Abstract: Black hole X-ray binary (BHXRB) sspends its lifetime in the quiescent state with the dim radiation. However, it can be suddenly very bright in X-ray band when being triggered to be in the outburst, due to the instability in the accretion flow. In this talk, I will firstly, from the observational perspective, review the timing (e.g., quasi-periodic-oscillation [QPO] and time-lag) and spectral state transients, during the outburst. Then, from the theoretical perspective, I will discuss the physical mechanism behind the observed timing/spectral properties, mainly focusing on: (1) the role of Lense-Thirring precession in the observed QPO; (2) the role of disk-wind in the spectral evolution. These studies will help us better understand the overall evolution of the accretion process in the outburst of BHXRB, in terms of geometry and dynamic.
